This particular piece was based on an image which I was ordered not to show due to the images looking too much like people they knew. So this is a pixelated version of that painting whilst keeping the essence of the piece. So this is very personal to me. I almost gave up painting due to this altercation. But then it did raise a valid questions on the ownership of identity.

This series explores colour relationships ignoring form altogether.

Anonymity of recognisable structure.

The oil paint is layered over and over to build up texture and vibrancy. Finished with a soft satin protective varnish.

Oil on canvas. Varnished and set within a bespoke white tray frame. Ready to deliver and ready to hang.
