Fragmented Seascape
This is the second piece in a new series of works exploring the journey through colour and the fluidity of water through abstraction, representational and geometric forms. And of course playing with my favourite colour, blue!
I wanted to study the seascape and take it in a new direction using curves and line to build up calm movement throughout the piece.
The oil paint is layered over and over to build up texture and vibrancy. Finished with a soft satin protective varnish.
